At MacDowell, Adam Schoenberg worked on finishing a fanfare for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, as well as his first symphony for the Kansas City Symphony. He completed his D.M.A. at The Juilliard School in 2010. He has twice been named among the Top 10 most performed living classical composers by orchestras in the United States.

Studio was donated by alumni of the Veltin School, a school for girls
in New York with a highly respected visual arts department. As the
plaque just outside the entrance attests, this studio was used by
