Alexander Elliott Miller is a composer and guitarist who served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Composition & Music Theory at Illinois State University. His composition Disappearance was premiered by the Los Angeles Percussion Quartet, by whom the work was commissioned, in California. In 2018, the album TO….OBLIVION: Historic Landmarks Around Los Angeles was released. A rock guitarist in his youth, Miller has played electric guitar for the Los Angeles based new music group The What's Next? Ensemble and been interested in writing music for electric guitar with computer processing.
