Andrea Cohen’s poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Threepenny Review, The Atlantic Monthly, Poetry, and elsewhere. She is the author of six poetry collections, including, most recently, Nightshade (Four Way Books, 2019), Unfathoming (Four Way Books, 2017), Furs Not Mine (Four Way, 2015) and Kentucky Derby (Salmon Poetry, 2011). She directs the Writers House at Merrimack College and the Blacksmith House Poetry Series in Cambridge, MA.

Andrea Cohen worked in the Chapman studio.
Chapman Studio was funded by Mrs. Alice Woodrough Chapman in memory of her husband, composer George Alexander Chapman. Symmetrically massed, the building is stuccoed on the exterior with a natural, unpainted cement. Its unusual half-timbered ornament consists of slender, knotty spruce poles painted a dark green color. A central, peak-roofed entrance porch appears on the north side…
