Ann Bauleke covered major league baseball for more than a decade. While at MacDowell, she worked on a collection of thematically interrelated personal essays, one of which, "Spinsters," appeared in the North American Review (Summer 2014). She lives in Minneapolis, where she bicycles to work at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts.
