Ann Cameron earned a B.A. with honors from Radcliffe College in 1965, where she studied poetry with Robert Lowell and R.S. Fitzgerald. After graduating from college, she worked in publishing in New York and went on to earn a master’s degree at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop in 1974. Her first book for children, The Seed, was published the same year. Today, Cameron is the bestselling author of many popular books for children, including The Stories Julian Tells, More Stories Julian Tells, The Stories Huey Tells, and More Stories Huey Tells, and a National Book Awards finalist. She lives in a small town in Guatemala, the setting for her short novel The Most Beautiful Place in the World.
