Ben Durham is at work on a new series of large-scale drawings on sculptural handmade paper. He's exhibited his work internationally, including at Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery, New York; Marc Selwyn Fine Art, Los Angeles; and the National Portrait Gallery, Washington, D.C., among many others. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, FLAG Art Foundation, the Hammer Museum, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Ben Durham worked in the Firth studio.

Originally a working barn perched atop the namesake hill of Hillcrest Farm, this building was converted to serve the arts in 1956. A grand set of windows was installed to make the large interior suitable for visual artists, bringing in abundant natural light from the north.
