Beth Steel worked on her third stage play. Her second play, Wonderland, was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. She was named Most Promising Playwright at the Evening Standard Theater Awards 2014. Her third play, Labyrinth, opened at the Hampstead Theater in September, 2016.

Beth Steel worked in the New Jersey studio.
The yellow clapboard New Jersey Studio, located on a grassy, sloping site, was funded by the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs and built as an exact replica of Monday Music Studio (1913).
