Brian Kiteley is the author of three novels, The River Gods, I Know Many Songs But I Cannot Sing, and Still Life with Insects. He has also published two books of fiction exercises and is currently working on two more linked novels. He has received Whiting, Guggenheim, and NEA writing fellowships as well as residencies at MacDowell, Millay, Yaddo, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Kiteley currently teaches at the University of Denver in the English and Literary Arts department.
