Born and raised on the northern coast of Istanbul, Burcu Koray is a Turkish filmmaker. She worked on rewriting Young Blood, a contemporary mythology set in the old-growth forests of America. Her installations include Prospero (Istanbul, 2010), The Reading Room (Carpenter Ranch, 2008), The Long Ride (Istanbul, 2008), and Afterglow (Istanbul, 2007). She likes: rocks, oceans, organic architecture, Islay malts, people.
