Cecelia Feld works in a variety of media, acrylic painting, printmaking, and photography. Her prints, etchings, monotypes, and collagraphs are often used to create collages. She incorporates abstract photos into the collages as well. "My art is about relationships, the relationship of line, color, space, and texture," she says. "The acrylic paintings often have collage elements added. I am always looking for new ways to combine familiar materials."
Feld, who grew up in New York City, has lived and worked in Dallas and on her farm in Bells, Texas since 1969. She received her M.F.A. from the University of North Texas in 1976.
