Discipline: Visual Art
Region: New York, NY

Charlotte Harvey studied art in Suffolk, UK and has been painting and exhibiting for 40 years. She teaches art to young offenders as well as working as a freelance artist and printmaker, exhibiting in East Anglia, Cornwall, and London. Portraits figure largely in her work as her favorite subject matter. Her sensitive drawings and oil studies capture her son’s journey from babyhood to adulthood and her many commissions and private studies bring out the warmth and humanity of her sitters – both young and old. Her work has been exhibited on several occasions at the Royal Portrait Society in London.
