Clayton Campbell of Los Angeles, CA, developed a series of experimental photographs for exhibit in Europe and Asia in 2010-11. He is the longtime artistic director of 18th Street Arts Center and was awarded the distinction of Chevalier, Order of Arts and Letters, by the French government in 2003.

Nef Studio, the first entirely new studio built after 1937, was donated by esteemed photographer, explorer, author, and MacDowell Fellow Evelyn Steffanson Nef in 1992.
