Collier Nogues is the author of The Ground I Stand On Is Not My Ground (Drunken Boat, 2015), selected by Forrest Gander as winner of the inaugural Drunken Boat Poetry Book Contest, and On the Other Side, Blue (Four Way, 2011). Her work has been supported by MacDowell, the Ucross Foundation, Vermont Studio Center, and Fishtrap. She teaches creative writing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and curates Ragged Claws, Hong Kong's bimonthly series of poetry craft talks. She also co-edits poetry for Juked.

Given to the residency by the Monday Music Club of Orange, NJ, Monday Music Studio is sited next to an enormous boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago.
