Darby Sanders is a writer from Athens, Georgia. He’s held residencies at the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, the MacDowell Colony, and the Djerassi Resident Artists Program. He earned an MFA in Fiction from the University of Houston and an MA in Creative Writing from Boston University. He is a recipient of the Stanley Elkin Memorial Award for Fiction, and his work won First Prize for Short Fiction from the Texas Association of Creative Writing Teachers. His stories have been published in journals such as The New Delta Review, West Branch, The Colorado Review, and The Blue Mesa Review, among others.
