Deborah Stelling is an internationally recognized artist. Her works are in the corporate collections of the DuPont Company, AstraZeneca, Oil, Gas and Energy of New York City, Westbrook Fashions of NYC, and Chemical Bank, and in private collections across the U.S., in Germany, and in South Africa. In 1991 Stelling founded SYNE and with seven other artists from the Delaware Valley, she has exhibited in museums in Kalmar, Sweden; Watford, England; and Fulda, Germany. In 2005, a traveling exhibition called “Parallel Visions” was launched in Wilmington, DE and toured through Germany, Italy, Sweden, and England in 2007-2008. In 2000, Stelling completed a commission for the new Fraunhofer IFAM Institute building in Bremen, Germany. By using lightweight metal foam technology, she became the first artist in the world to embrace these innovative materials from an artistic perspective and to play off the unique properties and textures.
