Derek Simonds, Los Angeles and New York, worked towards adapting Andre Aciman's novel CALL ME BY YOUR NAME into a screenplay that he wished to direct. Simonds has two other feature film projects in development: THE PERFECT HOUR, about Edith Wharton's affair with journalist Morton Fullerton, and CURRICULUM, an ensemble boarding school drama.
