Diana O'Hehir (1922-2021) was a poet and writer of prose from northern California. Her award winning work includes six volumes of poetry and five novels. O’Hehir’s novel, I Wish This War Were Over, on which she worked during her 1983 residency, was shortlisted for a Pulitzer. Her three most recent novels, Murder Never Forgets (2005), Erased from Memory (2006), and Dark Aura (2007) are mystery novels featuring a young woman and her Alzheimers-afflicted father.
