Dorothy Albertini received her M.F.A. from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College in 2008. Her work has appeared in Fence, Aufgabe, Drunken Boat, The Brooklyn Rail, and NANO Fiction, where she was the winner of the first annual NANO fiction contest. She’s been a Fellow at MacDowell, Ucross Foundation, and Blue Mountain Center. She was lucky to co-curate the Bard Roving Reading series with Elizabeth Bryant. She writes in Kingston, NY.

Van Zorn (formerly Kirby)
Dorothy Albertini worked in the Van Zorn (formerly Kirby) studio.
Constructed thanks to a bequest from Sarah L. Kirby, Kirby Studio was the last new building to be erected during Mrs. MacDowell’s leadership (1907-1951).
