Douglas Gauthier has over 20 years of experience designing and building residential and institutional projects throughout the US and Europe. Numerous accolades include a Fulbright Scholarship, the Berlin Architekturpreis, The Architectural League’s Young Architect Award, a Graham Foundation grant, a NYSCA grant, Time Magazine Innovator of the Year, and an Architecture Magazine Visionary Architecture Award.
At MacDowell, he completed work on a larger book project entitled Parallel Modernism: Practice in the East Bloc.
