While at MacDowell Frances Richey worked on her third poetry collection, The Devil's Looking Glass, and a creative nonfiction account of the same stories told in the poems. She is the author of The Burning Point, published in 2004 by White Pine Press, and The Warrior, published by Viking Penguin in 2008.
