Funto Omojola is a poet, performer, and visual artist currently based in Brooklyn, NY. They have done projects with A.I.R. Gallery, Poetry Project, Silver Eye Center for Photography, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and their work has been supported by Millay Arts, Cave Canem Foundation and MASS MoCA. Omojola’s debut poetry collection, If I Gather Here and Shout, is forthcoming from Nightboat Books in November 2024.
While at MacDowell, they worked on a collection of poems inspired by ile ori, or house of head shrines.

Veltin

Veltin Studio was donated by alumni of the Veltin School, a school for girls in New York with a highly respected visual arts department.
