Gardner McFall worked on new poems for a third volume of poetry. She wrote the libretto for AMELIA, an opera composed by Daron Hagen, commissioned by Seattle Opera and premiered there in 2010.

Marian MacDowell and friends originally named this studio in memory of Anna Baetz, the nurse who helped care for Edward MacDowell in the waning years of his life.
