Gbolahan Adeola is a writer from Ibadan, Nigeria. His short stories have appeared in The Southern Review, The Common, Gulf Coast, Transition Magazine, and elsewhere. He holds an M.F.A. in literary arts from Brown University, where he received the John Hawkes Prize and the Feldman Prize in fiction. He is a 2019/2020 fiction fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.
While at MacDowell he worked on a novel and a collection of stories.

by Alpha Chi Omega, a national fraternity founded in 1885, Star
Studio — built in 1911–1912 — was the first studio given to the
residency by an outside organization. To this day, Alpha Chi sorority
pledges learn the story of Star Studio and its role in supporting
American arts and letters.
