Gerald Korman is a contemporary artist based in Pittsburgh, PA. He studied at The High School of Music and Art, The University of Kentucky in Lexington, and Hunter College, and earned a B.F.A. in drawing and painting from The Cooper Union School of Art and Architecture. Korman is adept in painting, drawing, and general arts. He was a teaching assistant in the department of Fine Arts and an instructor of life drawing for undergraduate studies in art and architecture at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. Korman has exhibited at galleries in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Kentucky, and more. He is the recipient of fellowships from MacDowell and the University of Kentucky as well as awards from the Yale University Summer School of Music and Art and The Art Students’ League Scholarship from the Scholastic Magazine National High School Art competition.
