Glen Berger worked on a play about folk music and environmentalism in 1962. It was commissioned by Berkeley Rep. He's a playwright, has worked on Broadway musicals, and also writes for television — mostly animated shows with a science-curriculum-bent for public television.

Glen Berger worked in the Van Zorn (formerly Kirby) studio.
Constructed thanks to a bequest from Sarah L. Kirby, Kirby Studio was the last new building to be erected during Mrs. MacDowell’s leadership (1907-1951).
