Gon Ben Ari is a published writer in Israel. His second book, Sequoia Children, has been translated to English; his first, Nursery's Residents, was published in 2006. Hisd first feature film, the Yiddish-speaking Hassidic Western, Der Mensch, won the Jerusalem Film Fund for its development. He worked on his fourth novel.
