Grant Drumheller has been the recipient of a Fulbright-Hays Grant in Painting in Italy. He has also been the recipient of a Blanche Colman Award, a National Endowment for the Arts Artist’s Fellowship, a New England Foundation for the Arts grant and a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. He also was a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome in 2009.
Drumheller has been a professor at the University of New Hampshire since 1986. Other teaching and speaking engagements have been at Boston University, Dartmouth College, Amherst College, the Art Institute of Boston, Maine College of Art, Monserrat College of Art, and Gordon College. He has taught for several summers at the UNH in Italy Program and at Art New England Workshops at Bennington College.
Drumheller has had numerous exhibitions, including one person shows at galleries and museums both nationally and internationally. His work is represented by the Greenhut Galleries (Portland, ME), Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art (Charlotte, NC), the George Marshall Store Gallery (York Harbor, ME), and the Prince Street Gallery (New York, NY). He lives in New Castle, New Hampshire with his wife, Karina.
