Harris Greene (1921-1997) was an American author, retired foreign service and intelligence officer. He was a member of the Authors Guild Association, Association Former Intelligence Officers, Cosmos Club (Washington). He is the author of Inference of Guilt, FSO-1, and The Thieves of Tumbutu.

Harris Greene worked in the Sorosis studio.

Sorosis Studio was funded by the New York Carol Club of Sorosis. The small, masonry studio was designed by F. Winsor, Jr., the architect who also designed Savidge Library (1926) and Mixter Studio (1927).
