Hoge Day, who lives in Tucson, Arizona, is a visual artist and residential architect. He attended Kansas City Art Institute before earning a master’s in fine arts from Bard College in 1996. His paintings and drawings have been exhibited in Tucson and New York City, and at venues such as Metaphor Gallery, Parrish Art Museum, and Savannah College of Art and Design. He has been awarded residencies at MacDowell, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Millay Colony, and won the Best of Show award at the Arts on the River exhibition at Savannah College of Art and Design.

While Day has mainly focused on drawing and painting, he also holds a master’s in architecture from Arizona State University Design School. He specializes in residential projects and renovations. Currently, Day lives and works in Tucson, where he is an adjunct instructor at Pima Community College.

Originally a working barn perched atop the namesake hill of Hillcrest Farm, this building was converted to serve the arts in 1956.
