Jack Barbera is an American author and educator. Barbera received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in English at the University of Chicago. Barbera’s publications include Stevie: A Biography of Stevie Smith, and Me Again: Uncollected Writings of Stevie Smith, alongside a series of articles on poetry, drama, film, literature, and art. Currently, Barbera serves as professor emeritus at The University of Mississippi, teaching courses and researching twentieth century poetry, drama, film, literature, and art.
