Jan Gallione (1959-1993) was an award winning artist who exhibited at prominent galleries such as the Fendrick Gallery in New York. She had an exciting and promising future as an artist which unfortunately did not get to play out with her untimely death at age 34. She had residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell, and The Millay Colony for the Arts. Her awards included the National Academy of Design, Annual Exhibition (1985), and winner of the Julius Hallgarten Prize for a painting done in the United States by an American artist under 35 years of age.
