Jean Day has published six books of poetry and several chapbooks, among them Early Bird (2014) and Enthusiasm (2006), which she completed during her 2002 residency at MacDowell. Her work has also appeared in numerous anthologies, including Nineteen Lines: A Drawing Center Writing Anthology (2007), Best American Poems 2004 (2004), Moving Borders: Three Decades of Innovative Writing by Women (1998) and In the American Tree (1986). She lives in Berkeley, where she works as managing editor of Representations, an interdisciplinary humanities journal published by the University of California Press.
