During residency, Jeffery Paine worked on a nonfiction narrative about Tibetan Buddhism, and a book of literary nonfiction about the changed nature of human aging. He previous book, Re-enchantment: Tibetan Buddhism Comes to the West was named one of the best books of the year by Publisher's Weekly, and is currently being translated into Chinese.
