Jeffrey Stock composes a wide range of music, including Broadway musicals, orchestral works, and opera. He composed the music for the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical Triumph of Love, with an all-star cast of Betty Buckley, F. Murray Abraham, Susan Egan, Roger Bart, Nancy Opel, Kevin Chamberlin, and Christopher Sieber. Triumph has received more than 100 productions at theaters across the country and in Europe and Japan. His hour-long symphonic and choral commission Lulie the Iceberg premiered at Carnegie Hall featuring the world’s most renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma, violinist Pamela Frank, and saxophonist Paul Winter, narrated by Sam Waterston. Based on a book by Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado of Japan, Lulie was recorded on Sony Classical and has also been performed and televised in Poland.

In January of 1976, the original Sprague-Smith Studio — built in 1915–1916 and funded by music students of Mrs. Charles Sprague-Smith of the Veltin School — was destroyed by fire.
