Joyce Winslow traveled to domestic and foreign destinations every month for a decade as travel editor of Redbook and Mademoiselle magazines. Her travel articles appear in The Washington Post, Town and Country, Yankee, Working Mother, McCall’s, Holiday, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and more. She also interviews heads of state and celebrities in the arts. She recently co-authored a book with former Secretary of Defense Harold Brown, and her fiction has been awarded top national prizes and publication in The Best American Story collection.

Mansfield

Joyce Winslow worked in the Mansfield studio.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club. The small, shingled frame structure with stone foundation was originally fronted on the west side by a neat white picket fence and gate, a garden, and a stone pathway…
