While at MacDowell Julie Evans worked on a new series of paintings to be shown in a solo exhibition at Julie Saul Gallery in Chelsea in 2007. She will also have a solo show at Irvine Contemporary in Washington, DC, in the spring of 2007. She is the recent recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to India, where she researched Indian miniature painting.

New Hampshire Studio, originally named Peterborough Studio, was given to MacDowell by Mr. and Mrs. William Schofield, Mrs. H. A. Chamberlain, Mrs. Andrew Draper, and Miss Ruth Cheney.
