Kali Fajardo-Anstine is from Denver, Colorado. Her debut short story collection, Sabrina & Corina, is coming April 2019 from One World/ Penguin Random House, a novel to follow. At MacDowell she worked on her forthcoming novel, Woman of Light, and edited page proofs Sabrina & Corina. Both books focus on indigenous Latinas in the American West. Her fiction has appeared in The American Scholar, Boston Review, Bellevue Literary Review, The Idaho Review, Southwesern American Literature, and elsewhere. Kali has been awarded fellowships from Yaddo, MacDowell, Hedgebrook, and Hub City Press. She has an M.F.A. from the University of Wyoming.
