Kara Candito is the author of Taste of Cherry (University of Nebraska Press, 2009), winner of the Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Poetry. She is a creative writing professor at University of Wisconsin, Platteville and a cocurator of the Monsters of Poetry reading series in Madison, WI. She worked on her third collection of poetry, So Sorry.
