Kythe Heller worked on her first full-length book of poetry, a poetry and multimedia performance installation for Harvard's Andover Chapel, and various rituals for a religion which has never been invented. She taught in the Language and Thinking Program at Bard College while also pursuing an M.Div. degree at Harvard University.

Marian MacDowell and friends originally named this studio in memory of Anna Baetz, the nurse who helped care for Edward MacDowell in the waning years of his life.
