Lauren Joyce worked on her manuscript about growing up as a quintuplet. She is interested in how emerging technologies, e-readers and digital strategies will change the future of publishing. Lauren received her M.F.A. in nonfiction writing from Columbia University in 2008. Lauren lives with her pug, Henry, and splits her time between Boston and New York.

Lauren Joyce worked in the Calderwood studio.
In the winter of 1998, motivated by his passion for reading, Stanford Calderwood donated funds for a new writers’ studio.
