Lawrence Warshaw had his digital photographs exhibited February-April 2002 at Exit Art Gallery, Museum of Modern Art, and Wooster St. Gallery. The theme focused on life in New York City and reactions to 9/11/01. His paintings were completed prior to 9/11, however, since his studio was affected by the disaster, all painting had been curtailed during the following months. Since the studio could no longer be used, MacDowell offered him a two week residency to have time and space to revitalize and renew his directions in painting.
