Linda Kuehl (1940 – 1978) is an author most famous for her book about Billie Holiday and interviews with Joan Didion. She was tremendously fond of jazz, especially Holiday’s music, so she set out to interview many people from all aspects of the musician’s life. She spent 10 years on this project before tragically dying by suicide.
