Lisa Matison Garrigues is an award-winning writer and educator. She worked on a coming-of-age memoir inspired by the cooperative community where she grew up, Skyview Acres, which was founded in the 1940s by Quaker pacifists and artist-activists. Lisa teaches writing at Cabrillo College in California and leads workshops across the country. Her first book, Writing Motherhood, was published by Scribner in 2007.
