Louis Adelman (1919-2014) was an American playwright. Adelman served in the U.S army during World War II and later joined the merchant marines. He later became a script writer for CBS before turning to freelance playwriting, which he kept up for most of his life. Many of his plays were produced and read in his native New York. Adelman also frequently contributed educational plays, meant for high school students, to Scholastic Magazine.
