Margaret Reges is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and her honors include a “Discovery”/ Boston Review prize from the 92nd Street Y and fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, MacDowell, and the Vermont Studio Center. Her poems have appeared in The Boston Review, The Iowa Review, jubilat, B O D Y, Michigan Quarterly Review, New Orleans Review, and elsewhere.
Reges worked on her first collection of poems, Run, while at MacDowell.

Built
in 1912, Pine Studio was renamed MacDowell Studio in 1943 in
recognition of support from a group of Edward MacDowell’s music
students. It was built as a composers’ studio and the stuccoed
walls were intended to be soundproof.
