Maria Borja worked on her second book, New Town (2013), after her debut Grown-Up Things, which was published in Norway in April 2010. A Norwegian journalist and press coordinator, she recently moved back to Oslo after a year in Brooklyn, NY.

Funded by the Phi Beta Fraternity, a national professional fraternity of music and speech founded in 1912, Phi Beta Studio was built between 1929–1931 of granite quarried on the MacDowell grounds.
