Marisa Silver is the author of the novels The Mysteries, Little Nothing, Mary Coin (New York Times Bestseller), The God of War, No Direction Home, and the short story collections Alone with You, and Babe in Paradise.
Her short fiction has won the O. Henry Prize, has been anthologized in The Best American Short Stories, and has appeared in numerous publications including The New Yorker and The Atlantic Monthly.
Silver has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at The New York Public Library, MacDowell, The Dora Maar Foundation, and UCross.
She is currently working on a novel titled Four Hands, set in the world of classical music performance, and a short story collection titled At Last.
At MacDowell, Silver wrote new stories that will be part of a linked collection, currently titled At Last and continued work on a novel-in-progress. Stories from the collection have been recently published in The New Yorker and The Atlantic.
