Mary Hutchins is an American painter and visual artist. Hutchins’ oil paintings and drawings are reflective of her interest in music and movement, sound and light and the shifted, fractured way gestures can move across a canvas. Hutchins has twice been a recipient of Fellowships to MacDowell as well as the Margaret Nerone Prize granted by the Bristol Art Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island.
