Mauricio Arango was born in Bogotá, Colombia and lives and works in New York. He participated in the Independent Study Program at the Whitney Museum (2007) and was a resident at the International Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg (2005). His films have been shown in many international festivals and exhibitions. He worked on his first feature film, Hyenas.
