Max Wylie (May 12, 1904-September 22, 1975), an American author, professor, television producer, advertising executive, and editor.

Wylie was born In Beverly, Massachusetts. He was a writer, known for The Flying Nun (1967), Wide Wide World (1955) and Omnibus (1952). He was previously married to Isabel Winans Lamb. He died in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Sorosis

Max Wylie worked in the Sorosis studio.

Sorosis Studio was funded by the New York Carol Club of Sorosis. The small, masonry studio was designed by F. Winsor, Jr., the architect who also designed Savidge Library (1926) and Mixter Studio (1927).
